Yahoo Korea introduces higher resolution map service

Following all the recent mapping news from Daum and Google, Yahoo Korea has upgraded their map imagery to 60cm resolution for most of the major cities in Korea.
 

Along with other improvements to the satellite imagery outside of those cities, Yahoo is also promoting the Yahoo Maps open API.

Daum has also started to preview (Korean) their new upgraded map service with some promotional videos before the beta launches later this month.
