WiBro user base continues to grow

Instead of the endless stories about how few customers are using WiBro, Korea Times reports that recent promotions by Korea Telecom have helped in gaining new users:

KT said that its Mobile WiMax service subscribers surpassed 100,000 last week some 17 months after its launch, which means that it is now the most widely used mobile Internet platform in South Korea, beating SK Telecom's T-Login service which uses the mobile phone network.
