The Chosun Ilbo has an article mentioning the use of WiBro for electronic news gathering on TV broadcasts for the recent Korean presidential election. Video of the the presidential candidates was broadcast live from cameras hooked up to computers that relayed them back to the TV station:

A KT employee said, "Broadcasting during the presidential election served as an opportunity to prove the potential of WiBro. Sooner or later, most broadcasting and visual data transmission systems will adopt the technology."
