Koreans are getting ready to go to polls to vote for their next President on December 19. There's a well told story about a last minute campaign using SMS text messages in the previous election to help elect the current president Roh Moo-Hyun.

Along with websites and text messages, The Korea Times has a story on a new tool being employed by the two leading parties:

Major presidential runners are now using satellite broadcasting systems to deliver their speeches to the whole nation with trucks equipped with large screens. Through such systems, they can attract the attention of many wherever they are.
