The Korea Times reports on a new service from Korea Telecom (KT) to allow travellers to use the wireless broadband WiBro service while visiting Korea:

The telecom company said it will start renting WiBro high-speed modems to foreigners, on the first floor of the airport between Gate 6 and 7. Laptop PCs will be available for lease at the KT booth, too.

No charges will be applied in May, though a 50,000 won deposit is required. KT will start charging 5,000 won per day in June.

KT has an English language website with details on using the rental service.
