U-Cheonggyecheon revisited

uI recently found that the Seoul government had made some changes to the U-Cheonggyecheon “Ubiquitous Service Zone” at the Cheonggyecheon stream in downtown Seoul.

First, they replaced the multi-touch interactive displays with a mundane tourist information display. While the multi-touch interface displays were sometimes confusing to new users, it was a lot more fun and compelling even though the content was similar.

The “Free Boards” to send digital postcards remain unchanged.

Another new addition was a Cheonggyecheon Souvenir USB vending machine that sells USB keys for 11,000 won that are preloaded with historical and tourist information about the stream.
