Seoul will host the World e-Government Mayors Forum 2008 next week inviting mayors from around the globe to share best practices developing e-government systems. Nicholas Negroponte will deliver a keynote speech to the forum.

Along with the forum, Seoul City will also host an e-Culture festival at Seoul Plaza, but I'm not sure if there will be any changes to the venue or scheduling due to recent protests.

The Seoul e-culture festival, the first public event to celebrate the country's IT culture, will make its debut in Seoul Plaza, City Hall for two days on July 7 and 8. E-culture aims to bring the usual offline activities of arts and other performances into the online scene to suggest a whole new way of experiencing of cultural activities.

The 2008 Seoul e-Culture Festival (Korean) will include e-sports competitions, music concerts and the University of Seoul will also hold a symposium on e-culture.
